Gretchen Clark was trained to become a colon hydrotherapist under an apprentice program right here in San Diego. Being taught only about the physical and mechanical aspects of a colon hydrotherapy session, Gretchen could see there was much more going on for her clients. Fascinated by this, she wanted to expand her knowledge and learn more about the body, mind, and emotional connection to be able to better support her clients in a release.

 

Gretchen received her Holistic Health Practioner Certification at Body Mind College, school for massage and holistics. Here the school's philosophy is HEALER, HEAL THYSELF; You can’t give what you haven’t got. With that in mind, Gretchen dove in and embraced every healing opportunity for herself. Gretchen completed classes such as Massage Technician, Pathology, Passive Joint, Inner Child Workshop, Reiki 1 & 2, Craniosacral Therapy, Aromatherapy, Cleansing, Nutrition, Hot Stone Massage, Reflexology, Holistic Physiology, and Personal Mental/Emotional/Body Clearing. These are just a few of the classes completed that helps Gretchen to have a better understanding of her clients today. Not a day goes by where she does not use the life skills taught to her at Body Mind College. By continuing classes, she perpetuates her own personal growth and healing.

 

Gretchen loves being able to connect with her clients on a deeper level, if they are open to it. This is really where the healing begins. She sees the value first hand in each and every colon hydrotherapy session. Helping clients to understand what makes them “whole” is their connection to their body, mind, and emotions.
